A Night of Many Accomplishments

Last night we took care of many pressing issues:

• We created our first vine video.  It's about how we practice.  Check us out here.
• Courtney killed a giant centipede on Justin's basement wall using a J.S. Bach book.
• We reworked "Hallelujah" to include Courtney's violin.
• We discussed our upcoming Artscape set.  We're playing for an hour, starting at 2 pm on July 19th.  Festival stage.
• We spaced out listening to "Regular People," off the Eureka Birds debut record.  Justin hadn't heard the song in 3 years and had forgotten recording it.  We may bring that one back.
• We worked on the first two tracks on our upcoming concept record "The Feeling" and "Shameful Sunrise."  Dan found the right drum part for the former.  The latter is still a bit up in the air...
• We texted Nate to make sure he can play (horns) with us at Artscape.  He said yes!
• We listened to Kendrick Lamar for about 30 minutes.
• We played Cactus Man with Courtney.

All-and-all, a great, multifaceted practice.
